How often have you heard someone say "I wish I could play the Piano or Piano Keyboard"? Well let me tell you that as someone who has being trying to play the keyboards for many years, it can be done and it can be fun.
I have looked at and tried many types of music courses and lessons over the years and they have all been based on the same learning principles, which I have found boring and uninspiring and I normally quit after a short time.
If you want to be a classical musician then you need to spend hours of practice each day and learn the fundamentals properly, but if like me and a lot of other folks out there just want to enjoy being able to play a tune reasonably well, or you want your kids to enjoy learning how to play piano or keyboard, then you may be interested in what I am about to tell you.
I recently reviewed a piano course by Robin Hall that teaches you how to actually play simple melodies that can be applied to dozens of popular songs from the word go. All you need to do is practise a few simple three finger chords and away you go.
The whole principle of the course is enjoy what you are doing by actually being able to play something rather than studiously learning the theory first and then once you have learnt how to play, applying that to the theory. Rather like reading a book "If you cant get into it in the first few pages, it's likely you won't finish".
This course has been designed in fairly short, simple to understand modules with written guides and short videos. The author shows you and talks you through the various exercises and audios so that you can read, watch and listen, which is all designed to help you enjoy the learning experience.
The course includes 10 ebooks, 200 video clips and 500 audio clips and is also available as a CD rom, all for less than the cost of an average meal. The course is currently being offered at Half Price for a limited period only.
After reviewing Book 1 and watching the video clips I was able to play a sequence of broken chords using both hands, which I have never been able to do before and it looks very impressive.
In conclusion I would recommend that if you want to Learn How to Play the Piano or you want your kids to play piano you should Go and check out LearntoPlayPiano4Fun.com.
